Week beginning September 30

Next week, Sept 30 through October 4, has three courses.  On Tuesday morning, we will offer the final session (of four) of Picasa.

Kathie is teaching “Introduction to Genealogy,” on Wednesday.

And on Thursday, October 3, Stan will teach his iPhone course.  This course is sold out – standing room only.  It is required that all students have upgraded their phones to iOS7 prior to the class.

October is a busy month.  There are only three dates on which we are not offering classes, and we are counting on your assistance.  I say it nearly every week, but it remains true that it is the quality of our coaches that makes our course so valuable to our students.  Your contributions of time and knowledge are very much appreciated.

Week of September 16

We have two continuing courses this week.  Please note that our weekly Friday Open Lab for Computer Assistance will be closed on September 20.  The Center will be closed to set up for its annual benefit.

We have a lot of fun celebrating birthdays, holidays, and the sun coming up.  Here's proof that you can have your cake and eat it too!

New Trimester Starting Now

Welcome back. I hope everybody had a great August Next week, we kick off a new trimester that runs through December. We are offering 34 classes, which I think is a record. We have cleaned up the computers, and they seem to be working fine. We have added a new Brother color printer in addition to our other printers and scanners. In the lab you will find a new brochure that promotes what we do. (Thanks to Gene Chodash for writing and producing it.) In addition to using the brochure as a reference for yourself, please hand it out to friends and acquaintances to build our audience. You will also find copies of the classes we are offering with their descriptions, which is handy when talking to others about which courses they might sign up for.
