It is
essential that each student understand the importance of observing the
prerequisite requirements of each class so that you will have the necessary
computer skills to succeed.
Our
Computer Learning Center is equipped with PCs.
Some of our computer classes are applicable to PCs and not to Mac’s. Many of our courses, especially those dealing
with software (Picasa, PhotoShop, Genealogy, blogs, etc. or equipment such as
DVD’s, CD’s, scanners, cameras, work for PC users as well as Mac or other
operating systems.

Assistance
A
group of volunteers is available every Friday morning to answer your computer,
tablet, or smartphone questions, try to resolve your computer problems, and
help you with a computer or technology course you may be taking. Have a
question about your laptop? Bring it in and we will help you learn more about
it. This is an open lab, and availability of computers is on a first come,
first served basis.

Use Your Digital Camera

hands-on experience in composing pictures, taking action and night pictures,
and transferring pictures from your camera to computer. You also learn to edit

8 Accessibility and its Ease of Access Center

Windows 8 accessibility options and programs make it easier for people to hear,
see, and use a computer, including the use of touch-screens. You will learn the

limitations resulting from vision, hearing, or other physical issues.

Learn Much More Than You Already Know

Your Photos with Photoshop Elements

folder contains that great picture of mother? Joe's Wedding? Grand Canyon? And
what was the file name, anyway? Using Photoshop Elements, you can organize all
the photos on your computer, without being concerned about disk folders and
coming up with file names you can remember. Photos can be tagged with any
number of keywords for search and selection, grouped into albums, displayed and
printed in various arrangements, and made into slide shows.

to Photo Editing
